Now considered the frontrunner on the Democratic side as term-limited Florida Governor Rick Scott steps out of office, former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine has just released a new Spanish advertisement that will be shown in Miami and Orlando.
The 30-second advertisement titled “Escuela” tackles education, commenting on the public schools being underfunded and teachers being underpaid. He also pledges to raise their salary by $10,000.In a news release, Levine explains that “Funding public education is the greatest investment we can make in our future, and as Governor, I will reverse the trend of underfunding our schools and leaving our teachers underpaid and under-appreciated. If we want to build a competitive 21st-century economy that attracts the best and brightest, it starts with giving every child a chance to succeed, no matter their background or where they come from.”
Levine also ends the advertisement by assuring that, should he become the sunshine state’s next Governor, he will “put our children first.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
in the Democratic primaries, Philip Levine also faces former congresswoman Gwen Graham – who has called education the back bone of her campaign – Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, businessman Chris King and real estate investor Jeff Greene.
