It appears as if spreading the word of God requires that today’s preachers fly on multimillion dollar ‘air donkeys.’

According to the Times-Picayune, Louisiana-based televangelist Jesse Duplantis, 68, needs his followers to pony up $54 million for a new jet that will allow him to travel the world on one tank of gas.

Duplantis doesn’t like to make so many fuel stops when traveling, so he needs a new private jet that will get him where he needs to go quickly and without any unnecessary delay.

You can’t make this up. I wonder what God thinks of Duplantis and others using his name to raise so much money from Christians just to fill a personal and selfish desire?
