Every Mother’s Day Americans come together to celebrate and honor their mom’s for just being, well, mom. Rarely (never) do politicians try to exploit the day for political gain.
But this is an election year, and the Democratic Party and their so-called “Blue Wave” are desperate to derail the Trump agenda, at any cost.Hasting’s first tweet was the typical greeting most people would send out.“Mother’s Day is a time to honor the impacts that mothers have on our families. I would not be who I am without my mother’s guidance. Best wishes to all families on this day of celebration.”
His second tweet followed three hours later, and it was as politically charged as a message could be. Hastings used social media to celebrate Mother’s Day while taking a jab at President Trump for allegedly “separating immigrant mothers from their children at the Southwest Border.”

Hastings was obviously referring to the recent caravan of illegal aliens that attempted to enter the country illegally but has been kept out by the Trump Administration at the U.S. southern border.
