Because I am strongly considering challenging Rep. Ted Deutch (D) for his congressional seat in Florida (CD-22) this mid-term election cycle, I have tried to keep from expressing a contradicting opinion against Ted, but sometimes its hard not to.
Last week Attorney General Jeff Sessions came to Florida to announced that a new war on drugs was being waged to counter the current drug epidemic. Instead of applauding the move, “Terrified Ted,” who still hasn’t explained his full involvement in the House IT scandal, to a shot at the Trump Administration by tweeting that the drug problem needed a “comprehensive strategy” that was greater than the Reagan-era “just say no” drug initiative.Hey Ted, Trump has been president for 1 year, while you have been in the U.S. Congress for 8. Where is your “comprehensive strategy” plan?
I appreciate the work of law enforcement to stop the flood of fentanyl into our communities, but addressing this crisis requires a comprehensive strategy greater than a repeat of “just say no.” https://t.co/n0HJGKCO0J
