Not only is he a prominent Hoverboard enthusiast and rider, but Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R) is a huge supporter of the “Dreamers” and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Curbelo has gone above and beyond to promote DACA, but now the member of Congress from the boogie down better known as Miami is putting his money where his usual croqueta (Cuban pastry) goes.

According to Curbelo, for as long as the government shutdown continues, he will donate his congressional salary to TheDream.us organization. The group helps “Dreamers” with college.
