George Mason University has put out a new poll showing Florida as being the most fiscally sound state in the entire country. This is a really big deal especially if you are a politician who has been involved in the state’s economic and fiscal growth, and is considering a run for higher office.
Florida’s Speaker of the House Richard Corcoran was quick to acknowledge and take credit for what he and his colleagues in Tallahassee have done to help the Sunshine State prosper throughout the Obama years.Yep, he should take credit. It’s deserving.

Corcoran is expected to run for governor of Florida next year, making his formal announcement shortly after the 2018 legislative session concludes in early March.
