Miami Beach Mayor and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Philip Levine has a lot of money, and he is spending it to further his political future.
Not only has the centrist-sounding politician sunk millions into this campaign for governor, but did you know that Levine has in the past donated to the likes of Conservative Republican Marco Rubio?Much to the dismay of liberal Democrats, Levine gave then-senatorial candidate Marco Rubio $2,400 over former Republican Gov. Charlie Crist, who we all know jumped ship and became and Independent before becoming a Democrat after the 2010 election cycle came to an end.
Levine also donated to former Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R) and Sen. Conrad Burns (R-MT).

While Levine’s opponents (probably Andrew Gillum) will cry foul against the “Liberal Left,” don’t expect Gwen Graham to say too much about this.
Why?
Well, along with donating campaign dollars to Rubio, Diaz-Balart and other Democrats, Levine also gave her dad, Senator Bob Graham, a nifty $2000 back when he was a sitting U.S. Senator.Much like Donald Trump, donating to both Republican and Democratic candidates or elected officials by wealthy businessmen is common practice.
