Senate President Joe Negron and his chamber have lawyered up in the Sen. Jack Latvala investigation, but their legal counsel is not Senate legal counsel Dawn Roberts, rather the law firm GrayRobinson.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Roberts recused herself from Office of Legislative Services’ sexual harassment investigation into Latvala, prompting Negron to look for alternative legal help.
Latvala has of course denied all the allegations, and has vowed to fight to the end to defend his name and honor.
Why did Roberts step aside in the first place?
Since the salacious accusation against Latvala were first reported by the POLITICO, Tallahassee has been set a blaze with talk more accusations to possibly come against Latvala.
But the talk of the town is about who else could fall prey to similar sexual misconduct allegations.
