Our lives are consumed by politics, but in the days and hours leading up to a potentially catastrophic weather event, Floridians need to heed warnings and prepare themselves for days, possibly weeks, of life-changing wind damage and/or flooding.
Politics as usual in Florida will resume after the storm, and you can count on the media to hyper-politicize the Trump Administration’s disaster response apparatus, and probably focus on Melania Trump’s stiletto heels rather than recovery efforts.
With that said, Floridians just need to focus on getting their affairs and survival supplies in order.
