With President Trump continuing to throw sharp elbows at every Democratic Party and media outlet attack against his character and credibility, detractors are relentless in their efforts to find something, anything that will take down their political bogeyman.
Thus far, any and all attacks against President Trump seemed to have failed. Now Democratic operatives appear to be trying to set the false narrative that Trump could face a presidential primary challenge in 2020.Vice President Mike Pence has already dismissed rumors that he could primary challenge Trump, as has Senator Marco Rubio, who told CBS 4 Miami that “running in any Republican primary” was not an option for him.
“I’m not thinking about running in any Republican primary … I am enjoying my service in the Senate. I think that’s a hypothetical that isn’t even worth exploring because it isn’t going to happen that way. I expect the performance in the White House will improve significantly now with Gen. Kelly there.”-Sen. Marco Rubio
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
If, and only if President Trump decides not to run for re-election, could a potential Rubio for President campaign be up for discussion.
Meanwhile, Democrats have not yet started to figure out who they could challenge Trump with in 2020.
