Good thing the Senate healthcare bill vote is getting pushed back until July 4 because it appears as if Senator Marco Rubio (R) would not have supportedĀ the current version.
The media has been speculating on whether or not Rubio would go along with Senate leadership and vote in favor of the current bill, but in looking at his Twitter feed, Rubio is not just quoting Bible scripture, but rather tweeting remarks that seems to side more with his colleagues Senators Ted Cruz, Rob Johnson, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee, who all oppose the bill. While working draft of health care bill needs to be improved, the level of misinformation being spread by some in the media is alarming 1/4

The truth is that its not 1 mil on Medicaid who get cut off.Its 1mil eligible if state expands, but who won't get it if Fla doesnt expand 3/4

Fla already has waiver. As long as amount of $ to state is fair,no one currently on or eligible for Medicaid should lose coverage in Fla 4/4

Because Rubio has always been one of the strongest advocates for a completely repealing and replacing of Affordable Healthcare Act, aka Obamacare, settling for anything less thanĀ what he as pushing for years is probably not an option for him.
He ran for president on the issue of ārepeal and replace.āHere is Rubio pushing back against Obamacare three years ago
