Trump has also been pressing for Congress to confirm his Cabinet nominees. Only two nominees have been confirmed so far. Rep. Mike Pompeo, Trump’s pick to lead the CIA is expected to be confirmed on Monday.
It is said Democrats are slow-walking the nominees and have fallen short of the pace from confirmations of previous administrations. Democrats on the other hand are saying they think the nominees are being pushed thru without proper vetting.
