On Sunday Florida Senator Marco Rubio was very vocal about Donald Trump pick of Rex Tillerson as secretary of state. He stated the ExxonMobil CEO had ties to Russia.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Rubio’s statement was the most overt criticism of the new administration he has made. Rubio was a one time adversary of Trump but he also has been a very vocal critic of Putin and has signaled for investigations into alleged Russian meddling in the election.

On Sunday, Trump had the following to say about the calls to investigate Russia for possibly interfering with the election:
Rubio words have also been echoed by others in the Senate including John McCain and Lindsey Graham. McCain said Tillerson’s ties are “a matter of concern” and Graham said it was “unnerving.”I think it’s ridiculous. I think it’s just another excuse. I don’t believe it . . . No, I don’t believe it at all.
