Many know him, love him and think of him as a conservative champion for the State of Florida. Mike Haridopolos was a Republican member of the Florida State Senate representing the 20th District from 2010 to 2012. He also served as the Florida Senate from 2010 to 2012.
There has been a lot of speculation Haridopolos is going to run again in the near future but when asked he said:I appreciate the interest that so many people have in a potential candidacy, but at this time I have no immediate plans on running for office. I have enjoyed my transition to the private sector in 2012 after serving in the legislature for 12 years. The last four years have taught me a lot about running a business. In addition, it has been so nice to be back home with my family and our community. Stephanie and I are very active in philanthropic work here on the Space and Treasure Coast.
Even though he has decided not to run in the immediate future he plans on playing an active role in Adam Putnam’s and Rick Scott’s upcoming races in 2018.

One thing is for sure, Haridopolos will continue to make a difference in the state but for now it will be behind the scenes.
