Opa! Charlie Crist (D) is finally going to Washington, D.C.
Crist beat incumbent Congressman David Jolly (R) in the 2016 general election, and along with the other newly-elected members of Congress, traveled to the nation’s capitol this week for his new member orientation boot camp.He hasn’t event been sworn into office yet, and Crist has already stepped into the ‘swampy’ D.C. controversy by seemingly disagreeing with the rest of his future colleagues in the House Democratic Caucus.
House Democrats do not have faith in Trump, but Crist does, and is willing to give President-elect Donald Trump (R) a fair shake at governing.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
“As President Obama said, I think he’s pragmatic.”-Charlie Crist
Crist told POLITICO he was not as concerned as some others about Trump’s appointment of Steve Bannon – who runs Breitbart, the news site accused of appealing to white nationalists — to a top White House post. Though Bannon in the West Wing gives him pause, Crist said, the tandem hire of Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus to be chief of staff helps balance it out.- POLITICO
All of the faith Crist has in Trump’s pick as White House Chief of Staff seems to be because he and Preibus are both of Greek descent. Really?“The Priebus hire gives me faith. I know him to be a good man…He’s a fellow Greek and I think he’ll do a good job.”-Charlie Crist
Again, everyone say “Opa!”
