After one of the most contentious and nationally watched races in the country, Floridians have voted in a new member of Congress to replace outgoing Congressman Patrick Murphy (D).
Veteran Brian Mast has defeated businessman Randy Perkins by double-digits in Florida’s 18th congressional district, becoming only the second double-amputee to every win election to the U.S. Congress.Murphy also lost by double-digits to Senator Marco Rubio in his respective senatorial race.
