After his 2005 “Access Hollywood” video scandal broke a couple weeks back, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has found himself dipping in just about all of the national public opinion polls.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is winning, and winning a lot.The most recent Quinnipiac University poll of 600 likely voters has Clinton up by in Florida 48-44% among likely voters.
With three weeks to go in the race, Republicans continue to mull over what their Plan B efforts, if Clinton were to win the presidency.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The poll by the numbers:
Independent voters: 46-38 % for Clinton
GOP for Trump: 85-8%Democrats for Clinton: 91-6%
Women: 54-39 % for Clinton
Black men: 49-40 % for Trump
White voters: 57-34% for Trump
Non-White voters: 73-19% for Democrats (Clinton)But all is not doom and gloom for Republicans, as the margin of error for this poll is +/- 3.8 percentage points.
Also, keep in mind that Libertarian Gary Johnson garnered 4% of those polled. Maybe some of these Libertarians will cross over and vote for Trump?
Probably not.
But the biggest takeaway from the Q poll is that fact these are likely voters, not the surging non-likely voters that appear to be supporting Trump.
