Donald Trump’s new Washington hotel was vandalized on Saturday with spray-painted messages of “Black Lives Matter” and “No Justice No Peace” on its front entrance.
The vandalism came in the heat of a racially charged presidential contest. Hillary Clinton met with Black Lives Matter protestors and last week at the presidential debate she stated Trump “has a long record of engaging in racist behaivor” as reported by CNN.
The graffiti was reported to police at 4 p.m. Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police. The graffiti has now been covered up with plywood and no arrests have been made.
