Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) just turned 50 years old and she hit the town celebrating her birthday with a few of her close political amigos.
If you think Wasserman Schultz two-stepped her way over to the Round Up Cowboy bar in Davie, Florida (town in her congressional district) for a little Line dancing, you were wrong.Hmmm? Does Debbie Wasserman Schultz even Line Dance?
The town she strutted out in was Washington, D.C.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
According to POLITICO, Wasserman Schultz feasted on Surf & Turf at Whaley’s in Navy Yard in-between votes.
Yeah, pretty efficient of her and her friends. Vote, eat, then vote again.
Here is a list of congressional friends that were seen surfing & turfing with the birthday girl:Sens. Gillibrand and Bill Nelson, Reps. Dina Titus, Chellie Pingree, Julia Brownley, Kathleen Rice, Nita Lowey, Annie Kuster, Grace Meng, Carolyn Maloney, Sean Patrick Maloney, Susan Davis, Joe Crowley, Barbara Lee, Joyce Beatty, Derek Kilmer, Brenda Lawrence, Jared Polis, Ed Perlmutter, Terri Sewell, Frederica Wilson, Katherine Clark, Lois Frankel, Sheila Jackson Lee, Stacey Plaskett, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Mark Pocan, Jerry McNerney, Hakeem Jeffries, former Rep. Jim Davis and Philly Mayor Michael Nutter.
What Tim Canova wasn’t invited!?
That is funny. Canova probably wouldn’t entertain an invite, not that Wasserman Schultz would consider sending him one.
The two liberal Democrats don’t like each other very much, this after their bitter and divisive congressional primary race where Wasserman Schultz trounced the college professor.
But while Wasserman Schultz was mucking it up with her friends on her big day, Canova was busy setting up a Political Action Committee (PAC) called Progress For All.Canova has already file paperwork with the FEC to run for Congress again. This little venture is a way to say visible in politics and raise awareness to the Progressive movement and its causes.
“We have had such a huge grassroots following that we want to harness that energy.”-Tim Canova
Oh, and it will also help him raise some more of the $3.8 million in small dollar donations he raised campaigning against Wasserman Schultz.
If Canova runs for office again, you can expect the money Progress For All PAC raises will go to aid his effort to defeat ‘DWS’.
So, what is PFA PAC all about? The Progress For All agenda includes the issues Canova pushed during his unsuccessful campaign against Wasserman Schultz.
His group will support candidates who oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement, support campaign finance reform and “election integrity,” work to address climate change, and want to end the war on drugs and mass incarceration. Another priority is combating climate change, including banning fracking for oil, ending subsidies for the oil and gas industry and supporting solar power.-Sun Sentinel
Don’t expect Progress For All to be donating to Wasserman Schultz anytime soon.
Happy Birthday Debbie.
