With less than two weeks until southwest Florida Republicans take to the polls to vote for the next person to represent them in the U.S. House of Representatives, congressional candidate Francis Rooney has just scored the endorsement from the National Right To Life organization.
This is big.In a press release put out by Team Francis, the former U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican stated that he was ” honored to be the only candidate in this primary endorsed by the National Right to Life Committee, who is doing so much to promote the culture of life,” adding that Americans “have a duty to protect and defend mothers and innocent unborn children.”
Rooney has already received the endorsement of the Florida Right to Life group, as well as the nod from the American Conservative Union, led by their head honcho and my amigo, Matt Schlapp.

Rooney is entangled in a contentious, and by all indications, a close congressional primary race with Sanibel City Councilman Chauncey Goss and activist Dan Bongino.
The winner of this primary race is all-but assure to head to Washington, D.C.
Rebecca Negron has also garnered the support from the National & Florida Right to Life Groups in congressional race on the Treasure Coast.
