Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump held two campaign rallies in Iowa where he emphasized building up the U.S. Military, making nice with Russia, and working to slash taxes for Americans.
During his address in Davenport, Iowa, Trump praised his former presidential primary opponent, Senator Marco Rubio, telling the crowd the he believed Rubio was a “good guy.”Trump praising Rubio a bunch in this speech in Davenport: “good guy.”

Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Yes, Trump likes Rubio, but you wouldn’t think that was the case when the two were exchanging barbs during the campaign.
But again, politics are funny and fluid, and opposing campaigns usually always make nice with one another.
This is not the first time Trump has praised Rubio. Since Rubio conceded to Trump, Trump has made it a point to speak nicely of Rubio, and even stated that Rubio should run for reelection to the U.S. Senate.Poll data shows that @marcorubio does by far the best in holding onto his Senate seat in Florida. Important to keep the MAJORITY. Run Marco!

They usually do, but don’t mention that to Senator Ted Cruz, former Governor Jeb Bush, or Ohio Governor John Kasich.
Before Rubio and Trump can team up in Florida (word on the street is that they already have), Rubio must first win his primary election against homebuilder Carlos Beruff. The latest opinion polls have Rubio trouncing Beruff, but Beruff, who has been labeled as a “Charlie Crist Republican,” is pressing along, spending an average of $1 million a week of his own money.
In speaking under the condition of anonymity with someone close to Team Trump, the Republican senatorial primary race in Florida between Rubio and Beruff appears to have become a nuisance that has only prolonged the inevitable teaming up of the Rubio, Trump and RNC resources.
Again, Trump needs Rubio in Florida to help him win over voters in Miami-Dade County and those pesky #neverTrump supporters who will back Rubio, Donald Duck, or anyone but Trump. Rubio needs Trump to help him shore up those former-Rubio supporters who crossed over and backed “The Donald.”
Oh, and then there is this.
