The self-styled “Congressman With Guts” who is better known as Rep. Alan Grayson (D), lived up to this gutsy reputation after accusing a reporter of pushing him and then threatening to have that reported arrested.
The incident with POLITICO Edward-Isaac Dovere occurred in Philadelphia when Grayson accused Dovere of blocking his path after a public event. All Dovere was doing was asking Grayson about the alleged accusations by his ex-wife of decades of domestic-violence against her.“You’re getting in my way, my friend. You’re assaulting a member of Congress. You’re pushing me. Have this guy escorted out, please.”-Rep. Alan Grayson
Watch the video. Grayson confronts Dovere, sticks his finger in his face, and appears to subtly push him out of the way.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
On a personal note, back in 2012, I too had a similar run in with Grayson at one of his town hall meetings in Orlando, Florida.
While Grayson didn’t shove me or lie that I pushed him, he did get in my face and yell at me, calling me a “liar” in front of a room full of his constituents and reporters.
Grayson may have some anger management issues.
