Embattled Democratic Congresswoman Corrine Brown has just released a video in which she compares herself to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and defends her past accomplishments as a sitting member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Brown is facing a 22-count federal indictment that charges she and a group of others of committing $800,000 in fraud. Brown has plead innocent to the charges, but that didn’t stop her from equating her situation with MLK.“Martin Luther King was under attack and I’ve been under attack. And let me just say I’m not the first African-American that’s been under attack and I won’t be the last. But keep in mind I have a story to tell. And I’m looking forward to the rest of the story.”
