Shortly after Miami’s CBS 4 released the first of two segments skewering Democratic Senate candidate Rep. Patrick Murphy for misrepresenting his past experience as a CPA and small business owner, a super PAC supporting Senator Marco Rubio reared its head and released a short video that highlighted all the scathing allegations that were made against Murphy in the investigation.
The PAC, Florida First Project, which is run by Rubio’s past presidential campaign staffers, as well as a few individuals who work on another super PAC that supported the senator’s unsuccessful presidential campaign, put out this nifty video:After the first CBS 4 segment all but momentarily crippled Murphy’s senatorial campaign, Team Murphy posted a full-throated rebuttal of the investigation with typo and all.

We all make mistakes. We know they meant to write ‘exist’ and not “exit.”
But heck, if you are going to put out spin like this, you would think that a proof-read was in order, right?
It was basically one of those “he lied, and people died” type of responses that is typical of someone or a campaign that has just taken a devastating roundhouse kick to the groin.Here is Murphy’s “setting the record straight” campaign website posting:
Meanwhile, Rubio is probably back from Washington, D.C. and putting his new campaign team together, not to mention watching ESPN all day and eating a plate of Ropa Vieja from Latin American Cafeteria.
