Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged this week twice that the Islamic State and the treat of terrorism around the world is a bigger threat than climate change as reported by the Washington Examiner.
This comes even though Kerry has insisted for the last few years climate change was the bigger threat.Kerry revealed his change of thinking during a trip to Europe. He said:
[L]et me just say that one of the greatest challenges of our times besides the fight against extremism is to deal with the enormous battle of climate change.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
In Norway of Wednesday he also stated:
In 2014 Kerry stated climate change was “the greatest challenge of our generation” and he called it the world’s “largest weapon of mass destruction.”The threat of climate change is, without question, one of the defining if not the defining challenge — I’d probably give violent extremism — have to say one of — the defining threat of a generation and it is a challenge that everybody has to approach with urgency.
