Florida’s GOP senate primary race is beginning to heat up (kind of) as the five candidates running to replace outgoing Senator Marco Rubio begin to roll out their campaigns in the final months leading up until the August primary election.
Homebuilder Carlos Beruff, who has been spending millions on TV ads since entering the race, has been pelted by Lt. Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera for allegedly dodging events where the other senatorial candidates were in attendance.Lopez-Cantera has also dinged Rep. David Jolly, who just announced that he was making a political career announcement later this week, for his “liberal” leanings and voting record in the House.
Rep. Ron DeSantis, who is considered the conservative candidate in the race, has been relatively quit and has not taken aim at any of his primary opponents.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Now former CIA officer and U.S. Special Forces officer, Todd Wilcox, who is running as the outsider in the race, has just released his first campaign video aimed at calling attention to the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.
Wilcox rightly contends that in order to defeat ISIS and radical Islam, as a whole, America must take the lead.
“Arab Sunni Muslim Terrorism is a threat to all of Western society. If we don’t take the fight to ISIS now, we’ll be fighting them here at home. We should use every pillar of American power to destroy ISIS – diplomacy to create an Arab coalition, Special Operations Forces to lead, equip, train and advise them and NATO to provide close air support, intelligence, and logistics. Our cyber power can shut down the ISIS social media machine and use our economic power to cut off their revenue. ISIS can be defeated, but it requires American leadership and a real strategy to win.”
