Florida senatorial candidate and Rep. David Jolly (R) appeared on “Fox & Friends” to discuss the Orlando terrorism shooting, telling host Brian Kilmeade that he walked out of a secret House security briefing because his Democrat colleagues made the meeting about gun control, and not terrorism.
Jolly said he has penned legislation that would revamp the existing “flawed,” and dated “no-fly” list currently being used by TSA, and by law enforcement to issue gun permits.Jolly also added that there was a “clear breakdown in law enforcement” when they failed to flag shooter Omar Mateen as a threat, this after interviewing him twice before for suspicion of having ties to terrorism.
In addition, Jolly stated that he will make an announcement this Friday on his political future.

Jolly may drop out of the Republican senatorial primary race and run for reelection against Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat, Charlie Crist.
