Politics are brutal sometimes and Governor Greg Abbott of Texas was reminded of that late in April.
A couple of weeks ago he tweeted a message about praying for America and an anti-religion liberal tweeted back “if your god is real, then you will be able to get out of your wheelchair right now and run a marathon.”Abbott tweeted back and said:
That’s not God’s design. I’ve won races that people with legs could never run. God’s plan is bigger than walking.

According to Abbott’s staff this is not the first time liberals have mocked Abbott’s faith, and it’s not the first time they’ve mocked him for being in a wheelchair.
