Viera, Florida-GOP Senatorial candidates Rep. Ron DeSantis (R) and businessman Todd Wilcox attended this past weekend’s Republican Liberty Caucus forum, where the two men made their case for why voters should elected them to be the next U.S. Senator from Florida.
Wilcox contends that because of his business acumen and worldly experiences, he is the only one in the field of Republican senatorial candidates that can beat the presumptive Democratic senatorial nominee, Rep. Patrick Murphy.Wilcox stated that Murphy was running as a “moderate,” prompting DeSantis to quickly disagreed with Wilcox, saying the Murphy wasn’t a moderate because he backed a slew of President Obama’s liberal policies, including supporting the disastrous Iran nuclear deal and voting to close GITMO.
