President Obama will be visiting Jacksonville, FL to visit a lithium-ion battery plant which was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The legislation passed despite overwhelming Republican opposition.On Friday the White House said Obama will visit Saft. It’s a company that manufactures high-tech batteries. Saft won a $95.5 million dollar grant through the stimulus and matched that amount to build the plant.
