Marco Rubio started off the New Hampshire debate on Saturday strong. At least he walked out on the stage when prompted which was more then can be said about Ben Carson and Donald Trump. Both stood behind stage like a deer in the headlights when their names were called and then they watched one after another other candidates being called and walking on the stage. They had to be called again before they walked to their podium.
When Rubio got on stage everything started to fall apart. His political advisers had one message for the audience they were using Rubio as a puppet to say which was “let’s dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack Obama does not know what he is doing, he knows exactly what he is doing.“Whereas I agree with Rubio and/or his advisers I do not like the fact Rubio is a one trick pony and neither did Chris Christie who called him out on it. Christie said Rubio was a product of his advisers, he stated he was not answering the questions and he just uttering talking points.
Rubio proved him right when the next thing that came out of his mouth was the same statement about Barack Obama. Not only did he repeat himself once after the attack, he repeated himself three times.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
If only his consultants could tell him what to do next he would of been fine but Rubio was forced to do what he obviously does not do that often: think for himself.
Christie’s top strategist, Mike DuHaime summed up my statement above perfectly by saying the following about Rubio:
If you’re not ready for a human exchange with another person on stage, you’re not ready to be president.
