Congresswoman Corrine Brown claimed on Wednesday her district is under attack but we all knew this was coming: the feds are investigating her and it is not because she is a racist.
Congresswoman Brown said:The 5th Congressional District is under attack through the redistricting process, and now it is under siege by other political forces.
On Monday she was subpoenaed by federal investigators but her and her office will not confirm the subpoena.

The Florida Times-Union said Brown was served while eating dinner Monday night at Bono’s Barbeque on the Northside.
Brown said:
It is not surprising that every time we go through the redistricting process some tangential investigation comes up. I want to assure my constituents that these unfounded and political motivated actions will not distract me from my critical work of ensuring that the federal forces and the federal forces and rights of the 5th congressional district are being protected.
She is referring to the suit she filed two weeks ago in federal court, challenging Florida’s new court ordered congressional districts. Her district was changed and she said the new district does not allow her represent minorities appropriately.
The FBI had no comment but the Justice Department responded the following statement:
As a matter of policy, the Department of Justice generally neither confirms nor denies whether a matter is under investigation. That would include confirming or denying whether a subpoena has been issued in a particular matter.
