Danny Diaz, who is Jeb Bush’s campaign manager, was out spinning for his boss after the CNN GOP presidential debate this week, sounded pretty confident that his boss was the “most qualified candidate to be president,” and believes that race would “break late” in favor of Governor Bush.
I asked Diaz if Team Bush had a strategy to counter Senator Marco Rubio’s current surge in the national polls, which has led to him stealing away many would-be donors and supporters from his boss Bush.Diaz pointed out that Bush had “a heck of a lot” more endorsements, and that their campaign was focused pushing Bush as being the “best prepared” candidate to be president of the United States.
As far as those pesky national polls go, Diaz said that the polls were “the most unreliable indicators” of who will be the Republican presidential nomination.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Speaking of those polls, Trump is up “yuge” in all of latest polls. The most recent Realclearpolitics.com average of polls has Trump soaring to 33%, while Bush has risen just 1% from 3% to 4%.
Both Cruz and Rubio has also surged, but it appears that Cruz is slowing distancing himself from his amigo in the U.S. Senate.
