Patrick Murphy went on MSNBC last night to support his vote to create the Benghazi Committee and then he immediately attacked his vote to create the Benghazi Committee.
His quick flip flop broke his previous record of days to flip flop on the same issue after coming under attack from Alan Grayson.NRSC spokesman Greg Blair said:
With a high-profile investigation under way, Patrick Murphy can’t quite figure out where he stands on his own record. Murphy has become a serial flip-flopped who will change positions the moment his record becomes inconvenient. Or he could just be disoriented from the constant battering he’s receiving from Alan Grayson.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
This is what happened on MSNBC on Wednesday night when Murphy stood by his decision. MSNBC Chuck Todd asked “Do you want to take your vote back, or do you still stand by your vote?”
Representative Murphy responded “No, I stand by it, because I think it’s more than proven that there is nothing to hide there.”
Then he changed his position on the same day. Tampa Bay Times reported “Patrick Murphy, one of just seven House Democrats to vote for the Benghazi committee, said today that ‘it’s past time’ the panel be disbanded.”
