Representative Kevin McCarthy is running to be the next Speaker of the House and not even a week into his campaign he already made the Republicans mad.
He is taking a lot of heat because he said the following:Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable but we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened had we not fought.
As we reported prior, President Obama and Valarie Jarrett are actually behind a lot of the email leaks. Obama’s administration last week even said they were going to provide emails Clinton didn’t about Benghazi. So, it is not all of the Republicans doing. In many experts eyes, Hillary Clinton is not electable because she blatantly and obviously lies all the time and gets caught but she keeps on doing it anyway.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
McCarthy’s latest comments have a lot of Republicans wondering if he ready to be Speaker of the House and if he will just tarnish the Republican’s if he is elected.
Representative Jason Chaffetz (UT-R) told Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room McCarthy should apologize because his statement was absolutely inappropriate.
Boehner even said:the investigation was never about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and never will be.
As reported by CNN, in private the Republicans are outraged by the remarks. They feel McCarthy just gave Democrats ammunition to use against them and say the investigation is just about politics.
Trey Gowdy even chimed in about McCarthy’s remarks saying:
Look, I cannot control what anyone else says, I can just control what we’ve done. And if you look at the hearings, her name hasn’t been mentioned, if you look at the witness interviews, only three of them have any connection whatsoever.
