Ladies and gentlemen, the gloves have finally come off between former Governor Jeb Bush and Senator Marco Rubio.
For months, Bush has kept away from bashing his friend Rubio, but now that his protégé has surpassed him in several national polls, Bush has launched his first attack against Rubio by comparing to President Barack Obama. Here are some recent Bush swipes at Rubio per CNN:
-“I’m a proven leader…I disrupted the old order in Tallahassee. I relied on people like Marco Rubio and many others to follow my leadership and we moved the needle.”

In addition, Bush has also stated that any lawmaker who misses votes to campaign for reelection, or for any other elected office, should have their pay withheld because he feels that they are not doing the job they elected to do.
You think it was a slight against Rubio? You betcha!Since announcing his run for president, Rubio has missed more votes than fellow Republican presidential opponents, Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.
Moreover, Rubio has missed the most votes than any other U.S. Senator, Democrat or Republican.
Both Rubio and Bush are very competitive, so the chances are pretty high that these political jabs being thrown against each another will increase as new polling continues to come out.
