The Jewish-American caucus in the U.S. Congress is divided on whether to vote in support of President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran.
While Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Florida Rep Ted Deutch, who are both Jewish, oppose the deal, DNC Chairwoman and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) has surprisingly announced her support for the deal.“Under the agreement Iran will not be able to produce a nuclear bomb for at least 10-15 years,” she said, while the U.S. and its allies “will be able to more closely concentrate on stopping Iran’s terrorist activity.”-Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fox)
At recent protest of the nuclear deal outside of a Jewish community center in Miami, Florida, local south Florida Jewish leaders, and activists, along with one congressional candidate, Brian Mast, openly asked Wasserman Schultz and others to pull their support, and not vote in favor of the nuke deal, during t protest of the deal outside of a Jewish community center in Miami, Florida.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Mast called on (video) Wasserman Schultz and VP Joe Biden, to “stand with strength, to stand for what the United States of American has always represented.”
VP Joe Biden was down in south Florida to promote the deal to Jewish leaders, as well as to try to convince his good friend Wasserman Schultz to back it.
Biden has apparently succeeded in his efforts.
