Donald Trump has been effectively focusing his attention on career politician: Jeb Bush. In Iowa Bush’s campaign is only at 6 percent in a recent NBC News poll meaning he is now ranked amongst other low tier candidates in the state. On the other hand, Donald Trump is at 29 percent in the state and Ben Carson is at 22 percent.
Another recently released poll from New Hampshire is showing a similar trend. New Hampshire and Iowa are essentially must win states for Bush and he is not doing very well in either. Trump has 28 percent, Carson has 11 percent and Bush has just 8 percent in the recent poll. Back in July Bush had 14 percent according to Breitbart. What the polls show is Trump is winning the fight against Bush and it is starting to show. Trump has stated repeatedly Bush lacks leadership skills and he is a career politician that if elected will just led us in the same direction and not make any changes.
Bush tried to challenge Trump in the beginning in regards to his stance on immigration but it only made Trump stronger and Bush crash.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Bush is not the only Trump fatality though. After Trump entered the race he has also essentially ended chances of Governor Rick Perry and Senator Lindsey Graham getting the nomination and he has greatly diminished the chances of Governor Scott Walker, Senator Rand Paul, Senator Marco Rubio and Governor Chris Christie. It is early in the game though. Anything can change.
With that being said, do not assume Trump will be the nominee either. Even though it has been considered “the Summer of Trump” it will be interesting to see if the trend continues. If he falls the race would turn into a contest for the republican outsiders and his biggest accomplishment will be crushing the biggest elephant in the establishment world: Jeb Bush.
