After weeks of speculation as to whether or not Donald Trump would run for president as an Independent, Trump signed the Republican National Committee “Pledge” stating that that if he lost in the GOP primary race, he would support the eventual nominee, and not run as an Independent, or write-in candidate.
No sooner than Trump signed and tweeted the pledge, one of his Republican presidential opponents, Jeb Bush, tweeted at Trump a signed note stating that he had voted Republican since 1972.
