Black Lives Matter protestors have decided to take over political speeches recently across the United States and that is exactly what they did to Jeb Bush in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
Bush was asked what his views on racial disparities in the criminal justice system and what he thought about white police officers killing unarmed black men.He said:
these problems have gotten worse in the last few years.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Bush continued to say communities:
He also called on local leaders to become more engaged in recognizing the problem. Bush add that:no longer trust the basic institutions in our society that they need to trust.
perception becomes reality, and there is racism in America.
No one should deny that, although there’s been significant progress.
Next, he was asked how he can relate to people living with those concerns daily.
Bush responded:
I relate to it by running for president to try to create a climate where there is civility and understanding and to encourage mayors, leaders at the local level to engage so that there is not despair and isolation in communities.
The protestors continued to interrupt the town hall meeting by chanting “Black Lives Matter” over and over again.
