The overall winner of the first Republican presidential debate on Fox News was Carly Fiorina. Even though she didn’t make the cut of the Top 10 polling GOP candidates, Fiorina came out throwing elbows at both Republicans and Democrats, and made the case as to why she should be considered as a top tier Republican presidential candidate.Fiorina on the Iran nuclear deal:
He might not take my phone call, but he would get the message, and the message is this: Until you open every nuclear and every military facility to full, open, anytime, anywhere, for real inspections, we are going to make it as difficult as possible for you to move money around the global financial system.”
The highlight of Fiorina’s debate performance was when she called Hillary Clinton a “liar.”
Fiorina qualified her attack against Clinton, stating the lie she told about the Islamist terror attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, as well as lie she told about her own personal email-gate scandal.
Her accusation against Clinton made MSNBC host Chris Matthews’ head to explode.During his debate wrap up, Matthews, who couldn’t understand why Clinton was called a liar, had Fiorina on the show, demanding that she give examples of the lies she said Hillary Clinton told.
Fiorina rattled off the email and Benghazi points on Clinton, leaving Matthews to simple respond by saying “thank you.” He couldn’t rebut her.
