Rep. Ted Deutch (D), who one of a handful of Jewish-American members of Congress, and sits on the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee, has stated that he will not support President Obama’s controversial nuclear deal with State Sponsor of Terrorism Iran.
“Too many issues I have long raised as essential to any nuclear deal with Iran are not adequately addressed in this agreement. I will vote against it when Congress reconvenes in September,” adding that “there are different predictions about what will happen if Congress rejects this deal. But the consequences of approving it aren’t up for debate. Opening Iran up to foreign investment, increasing its oil exports, and unfreezing over $100 billion in assets means more money for Hamas for building terror tunnels in Gaza, more weapons for Hezbollah in Lebanon, more slaughter in Syria, and more violence worldwide.”-Rep. Ted Deutch (D) in an op-ed for the Sun Sentinel
This is going to sting Obama.
Deutch is the only other member of the Jewish American congressional caucus to openly come out to denounce the nuclear deal with Iran.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Reps. Wasserman Schultz, Lois Frankel, and Alan Grayson, have not stated their support or opposition to the deal.
