Another year, another election cycle, and yes, another Charlie Crist for something campaign.
Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves.Charlie Crist, who embodies the very meaning of the term career politician, and who has run and lost two straight statewide campaigns, has decided to keep it local and run for congress in Pinellas County, Florida.
The Republican-turned-Independent-turned Republican, who Marco Rubio once joked about, saying that the only party left for him to run for was the Communist Party, is looking to replace outgoing Congressman David Jolly (R)
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Because Jolly’s seat will likely lean Democrat after the lines in about 8 congressional districts are redrawn, Jolly has decided that his best chance of staying in the U.S. Congress is to run for the Senate.
If things go the way the Democrats hope, and Jolly’s seat does go “blue,” Crist will be the next congressman from Florida.
Charlie may make it to Washington, D.C. after all.You have to hand it to Charlie for being so persistent, or desperate, about getting elected to higher office.
If Crist wins, I expect him to be the new Democrat Party poster boy, who will be tasked to carry his party’s political water on just about every single issue.
Crist will be the new spokesman for the Democrat Party. Wasserman Schultz beware.
