During a Fourth of July parade in New Hampshire Clinton used a rope to keep the reporters away.
According to CNN, staffers held the rope and walked it down Main Street. They were using the rope to keep the media away from her so they couldn’t ask her any questions. Her campaign said they were using the rope to keep the reporters away so Clinton could have some space to greet he supporters during the parade.
The staffers reportedly told the press “You guys, we are going to do 10 yards and a little more organized.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Clinton’s Secret Service detail also told reports to abide by the mobile rope line. As the rope tightened around a reporter’s waist they said “you are not going fast enough.”
This is nothing new. Since Clinton has expressed interest in running for president her staff has rarely allowed the media to ask her questions or get close to her. When she has to talk to the media she treats them like they are second class citizens and is rude.
During the parade Clinton was also followed by a protestor who was holding a sign that read “Benghazi” and was splattered with fake blood. The protestor kept shouting at her, asking “Hillary, where were you at 3 a.m. when the phone rang on September 11?” He also asked her why she says she is dead broke even though she is a multi millionaire.Usually Clinton’s campaign keeps protestors away as well. This was one of the first times a protestor was so close to her.
The Republican National Committee had the following to say about Hillary’s rope trick:
We all know Hillary Clinton was desperate to avoid the media after months of controversy, but employing a moving rope line takes ducking reporters to absurd new heights. Clearly the Fourth of July for Hillary Clinton means independence from answering tough questions.
The New Hampshire Republican party also released the following statement:
Clinton continues to demonstrate her obvious contempt and disdain for the Granite State’s style of grassroots campaigning. The use of a rope line at a New Hampshire is a sad joke and insults the traditions of our First-in-the-Nation primary.
