The only legitimate fighting force combating ISIS in Iraq are the Kurds, and the U.S. seems to be turning its back on them.
According to a news report, President Obama and other Western allies, who have shown very little resolve in destroying the radical Islamic terrorist group, are “blocking” Middle East nations from directly arming the Kurds. Obama prefers that all weaponry from these Arab countries go through Baghdad.High level officials from Gulf and other states have told The Telegraph that plans to persuade Obama to arm the Kurds directly have failed. The Senate voted down an amendment for the U.S. to bypass Baghdad and send weapons to the Kurdish fighters.
The officials told the paper they are looking for ways to bypass U.S. permission to give the Kurdish fighters weapons.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
One Arab government official stated:
While many would argue that the U.S. should stay out of foreign conflicts that do not directly threaten American interests, ISIS’ expansion in Iraq and Syria, as well as around the world, does pose a direct threat to the sovereignty of the United States of America“If the Americans and the West are not prepared to do anything serious about defeating ISIL, then we will have to find new ways of dealing with the threat,” adding, “With ISIL making ground all the time we simply cannot afford to wait for Washington to wake up to the enormity of the threat we face.”
These radical Islamists are committed to attacking Americans within the U.S.
The case has already been made for taking the next step in annihilating ISIS.
Obama needs to act.
