While Jeb Bush was in South Carolina on Monday an employee at the Nephron Pharmaceuticals Plant in West Columbia asked him a question about the confederate flag and Bush said “the symbols were racist.”
He further commented during his time as Florida governor he watched as Georgia debated removing a confederate flag from their state premises and then it dawned on him Florida had similar flags.I decided to do something politically incorrect – Jeb Bush
What he was referring to was he removed the flags but instead of openly doing it, he did it on the sly. There was construction going on which required removal of the flags and when the construction was over, he simply did not put them back up.

He said he put the flags where they “should be” in a museum.
