With Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker saying that he may skip Florida in the 2016 Republican presidential primary race, would the other Republican candidates follow his lead, leaving Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush to fight over who gets take home Florida’s election night leftovers of bistec de palomilla con frijoles?
While many expect the Florida GOP primary race to be solely between Jeb and Marco, I still believe that someone like Ted Cruz or Scott Walker, could come in and surprise many, quite possibly besting one of the state’s two native sons.I also believe that if either Marco or Jeb win Florida, the loser of the two will fully back the other. But considering that Jeb has been slipping in popularity around the country, by the time the Florida primary rolls around, Rubio would very well be the clear front runner, and possibly the winner on primary election night.
Or there also is that outside possibility that because of this slip in the polls, Bush may decide to sit out the 2016 presidential cycle and commits his Super PAC’s millions to his amigo Marco.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Pipe dream?
Maybe.
Remember, every politician has a political staff that stands to make a lot of dinero in a campaign, so don’t expect the Bush people to try to convince their boss to not run in 2016.The same goes for Team Rubio.
I will repeat what I have said before. If Rubio wins the nomination, he will be the next president of the United States of America.
Take this very unscientific Shark Tank poll. Who do you support, Rubio or Bush?
