Republicans and conservatives around the country almost always love to hate on liberal Congressman Alan Grayson for making brash and offensive news-grabbing statements about them, but not when the self-styled “Congressman with Guts” is running for elected office against a fellow Democrat.
The Democrat Party has already crowned Rep. Patrick Murphy as their nominee in the upcoming 2016 Florida Senate primary race, and Alan Grayson is kind of ticked off about it.Grayson pitched a fit when he was told that Murphy would be receiving their full-backing, prompting the outspoken left-winger to push forward with a possible primary campaign against Murphy.
While Grayson has not officially announced that he is running for the U.S. Senate against Murphy and the Democrat Party, the conservative group, The Club for Growth, is making the case for Grayson to get into this race.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The Club for Growth wants a political food fight between Grayson and Murphy, and so does every other reporter and journalist, especially those down here in Florida.
The Club’s new ad that targets Republican incumbents in Florida, but also points out that Grayson opposes the “surprise righ-wing chimera, Export Import Bank,” saying that this program is basically,” paying foreigners to take away U.S. jobs,” and that Murphy has given it a full-throated support for it.
The Club followed up the add with statement:“Congressional Democrats, like Patrick Murphy, are in virtual lockstep in their support for the big corporate special interests that gain taxpayer-provided financing from the Export-Import Bank.”-Club for Growth President David McIntosh
Rep. Ron DeSantis (R), who has announced that he is running for the U.S. Senate in 2016, has already received Club for Growth’s endorsement.
