Jeb Bush’s family has had a longtime relationship with the seaside town on Kennebunkport. Now Jeb is getting a new house at the family compound on Walker’s Point which is listed in the town planning office as “Jeb Bush House.”
The house includes a wraparound porch and expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean per the Boston Globe.Bush’s house will sit on a 1.3 acre site assessed by the town to be worth $1.4 million. The house is going to be 3,000 square feet, four-bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms with shingle siding and a gabled roof. It will be the second largest home on the compound when completed in July.
As he tries to appeal to middle-class Americans when he runs for President it might be hard to seeing that he is part of a prestige family that is worth millions.

Bush released the following statement in an email:
Jeb has had limited input on the design of the home. Much of it is being done by his mother. The wives of Bush’s two sons are picking out the interior options such as tiles, paint colors and light fixtures.I’m incredibly blessed to be George and Barbara’s son and am thankful that they have built a special place for their family to gather. We are so lucky.
His four siblings already have homes set aside for them on the compound.
One of Jeb Bush’s aides said they house is being built using a limited partnership that owns the other homes on Walker’s Point. Jeb Bush is not a partner nor does he have any ownership.
President George H.W. Bush told the Globe:
The truth is Barbara has long felt like she ran the busiest bed and breakfast in Main. But the blessed arrival of great-grandkids and everything that comes with that made us realize we needed to expand our accommodations in order for me to preserve something called ‘domestic tranquility’ – and so our entire family could be here without exception.
