Very shortly after announcing he is running for Marco Rubio’s (FL-R) US Senate seat, Congressman Ron DeSantis got a big conservative boost as three major conservatives groups proudly endorsed him.
As we reported earlier, FreedomWorks PAC endorsed DeSantis shortly after he announced and at the time there were other PAC’s expected to endorse him as well. They just did.The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) announced they were supporting DeSantis and released the following statement:
We’re proud to support Congressman Ron DeSantis for Senate in Florida. He’s a strong conservative, he has grassroots support, and he can win. If he is elected, he will stand up to the big spenders in both parties and fight to repeal Obamacare, balance the budget, and defend the Constitution.

SCF’s President Ken Cuccinelli also said:
Cuccinelli noted his PAC is going to start raising money for DeSantis’ campaign immediately.We hope conservatives in Florida and across the country will quickly unite behind DeSantis because we believe he gives us the best chance in this race to elect a principled leader who will fight for our values.
Interestingly enough SCF also endorsed Marco Rubio.
The third PAC to endorse DeSantis Wednesday was the Club For Growth PAC. Club for Growth President, David McIntosh was eager to give DeSantis praise by saying:
The Club for Growth PAC strongly endorses Ron DeSantis for U.S.
He further pointed out:
The Club’s PAC endorsed Ron when he first ran for the House in 2012, and he has exceeded our expectations as a pro-growth lawmaker. He’s fought for the repeal of Obamacare and worked hard to stop Washington’s out-of-control spending. Ron DeSantis has been a courageous voice for economic conservatism in the House, and he’s the best choice to carry on the great work that Senator Marco Rubio has already done in representing Florida.
DeSantis has a lifetime rating of 95% with Club for Growth.
Ron DeSantis might be the first Republican out of the gate for Rubio’s Senate seat but he is definitely getting a lot of traction early on. He will be a force to be reckoned with.
